The interior texture map is pretty much completed now and is very detailed. I know it has been a while since I last did one of these, so I have a lot of progress to cover so let’s get straight into it. With open arms, anything that might be beneficial for me and this project. I welcome your support, advice, suggestions, and even criticism (always welcome but make it constructive) I posted early photos of the model last month on a different content creation page but im posting it here so that hopefully more people will see it and be able to offer advice/suggestions So far i have gotten a basic jbeam structure for the roll cage to load in beamng (this is not the one i will use in the final model) but i am yet to get the mesh to load I want to change that so over the past month or two i have been working on this.Īs i said in the beginning this is my first mod so im very much learning as i go NASCAR is famous for waving a caution flag to some of the biggest crashes in world Motorsport, so why is it that we are yet to see one of these amazing machines make an appearance in the game with by far the most incredible crash physics of any other? based on the camping world truck series that races alongside the main NASCAR series in america. its a NASCAR stock car with a d series shell. Also this will probably be a temporary modification as thatonekid789 himself will probably make changes to the Las Vegas map in the future. This is my first attempt at making a mod for beamng drive.

Yes on the apron the texture is a bit stretched, but I think it looks better than the grainy texture. Paste road_dark_jm.dds into the folder, and rename the file NR2003 16-56-52.dds Next open Vegas2022, go to levels > Vegas2022 > art > shapes > base. You don't have to unpack the maps (I just did to easily visualize it), you only need 7-Zip or whatever Zip file viewer you have.įirst you have to open Darlington2022, go to levels > darlington > art > shapes > base. I found a way to change Las Vegas's grainy Light Brown Tarmac texture to a Black Tarmac texture.
